Bingo Clamshell Being honest I'm very biased. I love these people so much. So I love this record, but it's also not a very happy album. So, if you aren't doing well this year, I leave it up to you. Some people can commiserate and feel better or at least not feel worse listening to these songs. This isn't a feel good album, so if that's what you were waiting for, sorry, this ain't that. Favorite track: Getting Better.

Jarred Schulte Hands down the best album to drop in 2020. Tribe and kHill manage to bottle lightening again five years after their debut album. An album that manages to fully encapsulate 2020 in six tracks. Winding through the revelation that heroes sometimes wind up being total bastards, the fact that two people can help each other through just about anything, and ending on a hopeful note to send us off into 2021. Things are gonna be much better as Niles says, but not many albums out there are going to be. Favorite track: Can't Ever Hold Us Down (Jarred's Song).

dudelongcouch I've been following these two dudes for almost a decade, and I'm glad I did. This is real music, just two insanely talented people putting themselves out there and sharing their art. "Getting Better" is a track that will be in my permanent rotation for the rest of my life. Favorite track: Getting Better.

Fake Four Presents Freecember Week 4: A Calm, Measured Response EP by Two Weeks Notice

"Two Weeks Notice was originally proposed by Tribe One (Niles Gray) in 2015 in the same way most of my duo projects have started... we were doing shows together constantly and started hyping each other's sets and eventually decided we should just create a project that way. Niles is known for taking an incredibly long time to write, once spending literally 16 hours agonizingly rewriting the same 4 bars at my kitchen table, but we managed to create our first album in two weeks, while simultaneously booking the tour. Ceschi asked us to create a Freecember release a few years ago and we had already been working on two LPs off and on since 2015 so we knew we had more than enough material. Once again, though, we found ourselves scrapping everything we had in advance and ground out 6 new tracks on the spot for our first Christmas-Day release as a duo. I think the result is an EP to speaks to our isolation in the age of Covid-19, our lives as fathers and husbands and also as two emcees still at the top of their game, over some of my best production.

Thanks for listening."
